DigitizationIS CRUCIAL

Digitization is a major factor in our business. Without knowing move2x, the game or the concept, we chose to extend our participation to the entire management team. Our expectations for the days were that we would become acquainted with various digital technologies and opportunities and even be allowed to apply them. The day could be a steppingstone to begin the process for us.

And since we were a professionally based broader group, it was not just questions of the technology itself – but more about collaboration and the way to apply them.

INDEPENDENT HABITSAND CLASSICAL CASES

We start with an unpretentious, basic introduction where we all gain the opportunities to get you well into the game’s scenario. Through the game in the actual mock up we became competent guides with a fine matched amount of information and explanation along the way.

And yet we had the sense of quickly being ‘just’ thrown into it, something in a learning way that was confusing. Obviously, it’s part of the game’s use of being exposed to pressured situations, catching us in independent habits and letting us try out classic pitfalls – all with a learning by doing .

HOW DID WELEARN THEMOST?

During the game, we were stopped by small timeouts, which evaluated our efforts and reaction patterns. In terms of time, it was these timeouts that filled the least – but it was undoubtedly the ones we learned the most from. It can be brought in different challenging situations and could pursue different goals along the way combined with the learned breaks provided and perfect interaction.

AT WORKINGTOGETHER

Towards a common goal.

As a team, we considered ourselves a small company, worker courage and common goals and along the way are presented with both obstacles and new tools.

We were motivated to utilized each others qualifications, and how the interaction between us could be optimizes. I reality world is Velux a big business, where the individual is at risk of disappearing into the system – but this day has shown us that it is necessary, everything is connected, and on all sides to see their roles optimally for a successful result.

After our games and our day together we have a common frame of reference
for understanding Industry 4.0 and inspiration for specific tools in evaluation digitalization.
